The US International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) turns 80. Our Partner Abg. Francisco Estupiñán participated in 2007 in the IVLP program, which is a professional exchange funded by the Office of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the US Department of State. IVLP’s mission is to offer international and emerging leaders the opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of American political, economic, social, and cultural life through carefully designed exchanges that reflect the professional interests of the participants and the public diplomacy goals of the United States government.
The exchange brings up to 5,000 professional leaders from around the world to the United States each year for programs of up to three weeks. The program is nominated solely by the staff of the US embassies. The program attended by the Abg.
