Bankruptcy and Insolvency
FEXLAW provides representation for clients in most aspects of bankruptcy and insolvency cases, both in Ecuador and in relation to insolvencies outside of Ecuador. In Ecuador bankruptcies cases, Fexlaw provides representation of creditors and interested parties in all aspects of the procedure. Fexlaw has represented several cases where Chapter 15 of the Bankruptcy Code of the United States has been applied, obtaining recognition of the foreign process by the International Courts, to litigate the causes of action against the accused. Fexlaw has handled Chapter 15 cases stemming from various jurisdictions, including BVI, Cayman Islands, and the Bahamas.
