A unique and highly complex case, ultimately resolved favourably, in which Fexlaw acted as private prosecutor, coordinating with and providing strategic support to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, in a criminal proceeding for serious property offences involving one of the world’s leading multinationals in the tourism sector.
During the proceedings, more than eight (8) hearings were held, in which a rigorous and technical prosecution strategy was deployed, based on a meticulous, orderly and progressive presentation of the evidence, incorporating specialised technical expert reports that allowed for complete financial traceability of the operations under investigation.
The case also involved the use of advanced link analysis and diagramming technology by Fexlaw, using state-of-the-art criminal relationship systems, which made it possible to clearly and comprehensively expose the connections between individuals, operations and financial flows, strengthening the prosecution’s case.
The favourable outcome obtained in the appeal was a direct result of the technical precision in the production and rebuttal of evidence, as well as the forcefulness of the closing arguments, which unequivocally demonstrated the criminal liability under investigation. This case stands as an exceptional precedent that demonstrates hashtag#Fexlaw’s ability to lead and sustain complex corporate criminal prosecutions, with international technical and strategic standards.
This achievement is the result of exceptional teamwork carried out by Francisco X. Estupiñán™, Alicia Salgado Macías and Daniel Calderón of FEXTOR, who jointly designed and executed a highly precise legal and investigative strategy, ensuring the success of each phase of the process with a comprehensive vision and technical approach.
